Any updates on this game? How do people like it so far?

You're probably not going to get a whole lot of opinions on this since they only had a very limited alpha thus far unless you played the Russian, Korean, or JP versions.

I heard that the Games Developers are having talks with sony about bringing Black Desert to the PS4...

which is a smart thing to do, because I wont have to buy a whole new pc to play it.... PS4 does have the technology to run mmorpg's now

The whole Buy 2 Play thing is going to kill it.
it'll switch to F2P within the year, that's pretty much a guarantee.





it does, and so does Xbox.
but for MMO's with Skill bars and menu's it can get VERY tedious for button mapping on a controller due to it's limitations. (even worse when it's an Action game that requires speed)

There are streamers that play it only using a controller, and it's working really well.
Check youtube, there should be some videos of it.

Check magica 2 on ps4, you got TONS of combos / spells and they map perfectly.

Meh... they are doing a shit job of marketing this game. I'm pretty disappointed with how they've been handling it.

Alpha was so short and extremely limited on who they let in... and they're doing only closed beta tests and no open ones, 0/10 marketing.

well it's to be expected for a Localized title.
all they can do is give out keys to various MMO sites and maybe get the odd coverage of a few game media sites.

With no Local publisher it hurts their reach kinda.
