Way too late for posts already. Yes, the value for res is set at 30 gold. It doesnt change with the market.
The market is circling around 30gold for res as a result thou.

resources are valued at 30 for now. it wasnt before and we don't know if that is permanent, since on dev is already removed this price fix. i strongly recommend new people to pursue the battling path. It is the "harder" one, but the way the game is built, favors battling heavily long term.
