With this in mind, we are announcing the closure of the legacy Diablo II: Lord of Destruction EU realm servers.
We understand that this marks the end of an era for many players who remained loyal to the original experience for decades. Your passion for Diablo II has never gone unnoticed, and we are deeply grateful for the commitment and love you have shown this game over the years.
To honor that legacy and help players continue their journey, all existing Diablo II legacy players will receive a 50% discount on Diablo II: Resurrected for a limited time. We hope this will make the transition easier and invite both returning veterans and longtime fans to carry the spirit of Diablo II forward in a modern form.

...if this is true,then Blizzard f@cked all of us legacy loyal players.I find this a very sick joke to be.Blizzard better make a good maintenance or maybe release a 1.15beta version with some good features like D2 resurected.If in deed is the end of the legacy game,then Blizzard sucks a lot.He ruined thousands of players that supported the game for almost 30 years now and made it an all time success for that company,better say an all time ultimate success,i don't understad why to restart or run a maintenance in the middle of the ladder period and not when the ladder will restart anyway in June.Many of us have spent thousands of hours of our precious time to enjoy that f@cking game and now Blizzard just takes that away from us with an announcement just like that. ........BLIZZARD IF YOU CLOSE DIABLO II LOD YOU SUCK.......I'M VERY DISAPOINTED IN YOU.....
