I just downloaded the game again and the game wont connect to battle.net. I get a message that says:

d2 battle net is not responding. Please try connecting again in a few minutes.

Could anyone please help me. I want to play...

make sure you're not using a proxy or VPN, you'll get a temp restriction for that since they don't allow those connections. this will last a few weeks I think.
make sure you're not using business class internet, you'll get a temp restriction for this too. some internet connections that are higher speed than consumer-grade are business class.
make sure if you're using a firewall that D2 is allowed past it.

make sure you're runnin the latest patch 1.14 d - i had to dl the latest patch from a 3rd party website i think when i started again 12 days ago - not sure if this helps -

Yes do a google search for Blizzard Classic Game Patches and download the LOD patch 1.14d

edit - i had temporarily disable my firewall also

the nerds on reddit will help you whatever problem you run into, they sure helped me get back into my d2 addiction

I have Version 1.14D. So frustrating...





Not using proxy nor VPN. I think I just have a regular internet. I just have malwarebytes. Anything else?

I downloaded the game yesterday and it wouldn't let me use battle.net, but I change the region to Asia and it I was able to download it and play the game for a little bit on USWest. but when I tried again, now I get that message.
I did log in to my remote access for work, would that maybe be the issue?
