If I put some more Str on my BF assassin for more physical dmg, then I would be able to use the CV, then again -lite res (as well as ed) matters with Dream helm.

My Assassin wields eth Infinity (Cryptic Axe, if I remember correctly) for FB and Stormlash for kick as I said already (and sometimes Rift and Nightwing for fun) so both ed and - lite res matter for my Infinity. It IS on Assassin herself, not on merc.

this is untrue. The minus to light res with the chain lightning effect makes a difference. as far as the cb part is applicable but ive tried several and the difference in damage is huge. people would be wearing scythes or voulges for there 90+ lvl mercs if the damage didnt matter.

As stated already. It's the value of the runes and the base.

-light res doesn't affect anything except the one who wears It.

You can put a -45 light res on your merc and your sorc or trapper will kill just as fast because the only thing affecting the mobs is the conviction itself.

Because of the higher than average ED you may get a few fg more for it, but because Runes are so cheap and d2 lod is dead, most people will roll there own (for the reasons I stated above) before spending extra coin on a higher roll.

look um lmao. i never posted this thread to make sense of anything i know how conviction and the light res works. if there is any dispute or argument here it didnt come from my side. i just wanted to know the value of 1 off perf damage.

I just gave you the value. Slightly higher than what it cost you to roll.

If it were a 15/3 base, with the same roll, slightly higher than that.

If it cost you 10fg to roll said item, it's probably worth 20-30 for a nice roll.
