what is happening with games again> Why are we waiting so long to start the game>?

Probably an anti-bot meassure.

That doesn't make sense, bots still working. Slower, but they're still on.

And I think the queue is doing the opposite, destroying the casual and "legit" players.

I cant think of something else. Personaly i agree you. I felt it on my skin.

I had a message of SoJs being sold yesterday (was in classic^^), so i started to use the netstat -n command for almost every game that i created since then. I was always connected to IP 60 or 80, no matter how often i tried.
This makes me think that all servers, except for 2, have been shut down.

What sucks about this is that i bought a copy of the game just ~ 1 1/2 months ago, for the full price. Would have been great if they announced that they are trying to kill the game. Maybe they do it to save a few bucks, or they try to force the rest of us to join private servers/ buy d2r



Afaik USWest is completely dead now. USEast appears to work without any problems.
Playing the legit way now sucks even more, cause you have bots joining public games, making questing pretty much impossible. They clear out everything and hop into the next game, without having to wait a single second in queue. Gj on screwing the legit players even more, i honestly didn't know that was possible



edit: What i said only applies to ladder! I have heard that nonladder works fine everywhere, but I have not checked it myself.
