For the enigma runeword, what is better?

Armor with for an exemple 300 def + 15 % ed

Or

Armor with 500 def but not sup

depends how much strength / points u wanna waste to pick enigma or if u can str bug

Supposed the strengh is not a problem, my question is: does ed% give a bonus when runeword is done or the 500 armor will be better.

AFAIK the %ED does not apply to the flat DEF bonus on enigma, so your ED base 300 def enigma will have less total def than the non sup 500def base, however it may be better if you don't need any hard points in strength to be able to equip the lower defense enigma.Then again if you can equip a couple rings with +str enough to equip the higher defense enigma then you can swap the rings back and it will stay equipped self-sustaining by its own strength bonus. This is what dendosha was referring to by str bug.

Enigma adds + to defense default between +750-+775, so the base does not amplify enhanced defense % if that's what and i think that's what you're asking. So it will only end up being the difference of the 2 armors defenses at the start of the runeword, at the end of the runeword as well
