So, I just got this game about a week ago. I have not been doing too bad in my eyes. However, I've not gotten a chicken dinner solo. I have been #2-10 many times though. Anyway, I have issues figuring out what the best loadout would be towards end game.

Frequently I have been using 2AR's usually consiting of AKM and M16. However, I have noticed a lot of later game players use AR/SMG(UMP). So Maybe some of you can give me a few pointers on at least that avenue.

Next, I don't know when the best time is to start pushing into the circle at the end. I notice some people will actually wait in the blue a few moments others will crawl in. Is there any tactics that may help me achieve my first chicken dinner that you more experienced people have to offer?

Drop in hot areas in beginning. Hone your gunplay and learn to not be afraid to fight. Once you are comfortable engaging, makes rest of game easier.

Tips for end circles:

Learn terrain. Be on lower elevation for cover.
You can usually rush to houses with a covered vehicle (Dacia, covered UAZ). Other vehicles depend on terrain if you have enough coverage or a path to get there safely.
Go towards shorter sides of blue circle so you're not having to worry about running.
Don't wait around if circle is a distance. As mentioned above, you don't want to have to run and worry about circle and players. If people are around i.e in a building next to you, you will have to take them out. Don't wait for them to start running.
Use grenades as distractions by tossing it far and opposite of where you are going to run.
Don't automatically shoot people if they haven't noticed you and you're in a position where they won't. Firing will reveal your position to other players. Use them as bait to find other players or reposition.

Late game you only shoot if you know you can get the kill. People use the UMP because of its accuracy. It's hard to potato aim and mess up a kill because the gun is so steady.

You need to find players and look at where they are shooting to find other players.

Find everyone around you. Look all around your terrain with the third person advantage.

Move around the edge of the blue towards where it is pinched. Moving directly towards white reveals you to both of your sides.

If there is someone in your way do not be afraid to engage on them or leave the area. If you wait for blue to move then you'll die sprinting even if you kill him when he moved first.

Well, first of all, do you know how judging distances works as well as zeroing?

Knowing the range helps your vertical range.
Horizontal, if they're moving, mostly just needs practice.
