If you line up a 3 round burst with M16 on their head it will triple shot and insta kill.

33 rounds to kill one person. It shoots fast but you're effectively missing 1 or 2 shots per burst if moving sideways. Any other AR in that situation would be able to down under 15 shots.

Only time I like the M416 is mid range (a little further than in the clip) and only with a vert grip + compensator

Because that's where the recoil management starts to matter more

But even slightly out of mid range the M16 single fire just becomes better
