If you're parachuting close then you want to fly horizontal and then be nose diving when the place you want to chute to is on the edge of your minimap

The faster your vertical velocity, the lower you go when you pull your chute, allowing you to reach the ground faster overall
Reaching 233-234 speed gives a huge advantage on landing quick

After your chute pulls you'll be able to float that last bit of distance to your location

Still though, if you're playing to win then you should try to fly farther away.

In order to fly far, you want to chute early (as late as possible to get to your destination though) and lightly tap "W"
Lightly tapping W keeps your horizontal movement steady but doesn't cause you to go down too much
I typically tap W (forward) so that my vertical speed is about 35-40

You need to judge distances (and when to pull) mostly on experience though.

Fuck this game.

I think the best I've done in a solo game. Got 1 good kill, the other one I think I got lucky because the other guy should have seen me first.

anyone else have issues with lag constantly? Not sure if it's my ISP or what. Is there any way to see what your ping is in game?

i do get the occasional "network lag" but you should check your ISP
constantly doesn't sound pleasing :/
