I wouldn't value the overspawn splintered rod any more than any other t1 overspawn.

The rank 30 rod is definitely nice and useful, but the thing that stinks about rods is that after you pass their rank, they are mostly obsolete. Unfortunately, I don't think there is anybody at that current rank who could use it, so right now, it has little value to anybody

Practically 100% agree with you here.

The only significance of either Rod to a player is if they are wanting to Fish with 0 Ranks and either catch up with to top rankers or surpass them.
