Until you posted this, I was sure your bid was the last one within the original 24 hours time frame.

Sorry everyone for the confusion and thanks for your help to clarify the situation.

How I see the situation:

--> 1st D/L(24 hours) started

--> 2nd D/L (8 hours) started

--> last bid within time and new 8 hour d/l started

--> new overbid, but few hours to late

based on my time zone and what you said this is the winning bid based on deadlines.

Why does it matter how much time it takes? You are trying to sell an item, as long as there is someone overbidding, I don't see a logical reason why you should reject more FG

highfield is correct, berts 825 offer is still within THE FIRST 24 hour dl(even lemurs 850 is), i was so focused on the individual time the offers came in, that i forgot when the first 24 hour dl was activitated..

i think highfield is correct here, i dont think highfield intended his 24 hour dl to be over ruled by overbid and the 8hour dl thing.. intention was prolly that if someone overbid in the last hours of the 24 hour dl, that would trigger an additionel 8 hours.!

One thing I won't do is breaking my D/l-rule.

So, if you all agreee, that Dohtrader has won the auction, I'll sell to him.

Only thing I still struggle is the point, that the original d/l was a 24 hour d/l. And Bert's 825 Fg offer was minutes before it expired. Or am I to dumb to understand the time?

As mentioned before, I don't want to hurt anyone or break any rules. And yes, the 8 hour d/l was a bonus to the already existing 24 hour one.

Things seem to be clear now, thanks again for your support.

You guys do understand that sometimes it takes time for people to be available to actually bid or overbid, right? Just like you had to be away for given amount of hours, the same is for everyone else. Putting a timer on things is plain stupid. And if you sell to a guy because the next one overbid few minutes late makes you a complete idiot, no offense!

I understand you and when/if I sell items again, I won't do that d/l thing again.

But this time, I did it and I stick to my word. FdF's 900 Fg bid released a new 8 hour d/l and there was no bid within that time frame. His offer won.

If FdF still wants the items, I sell it to him.

I'm sorry for those who might don't like my decission.
