yes, that is old bug, u probably died with lag, still didnt has all the info on blizz servers. so if u close the game and open again it will appear you dead. sorry sir.

Had this with my tele sorc, thought I left the game before I died. Bnet showed me dead (unable to join or create games) but still geared. Ultimately i deleted the char. It only happened to me this ladder.
