(and that was about 1,5months into the season btw)... there is no way an item in HCCL will ever sell for something like 60k... the market is simply not that big (and now even smaller then it was in season1)

same with the laughingstock of a guy that tried to sell a SoJ a few days ago for 12k... i've never seen a SoJ sell for over like 4k in HCCL... simply won't happen ever... the simps falling for those prices are all on LoD :)

That mage plate actually sold for like 15-16K, not 20-30K. And the market back then was much better than now. It was like 9x% defence, 29/30 FR/LR, high 5x life, 24 FHR and 1X str. Nearly perfect rolls on 6 of the most desirable mods.
I also bought a nearly perfect 6-roll ornate plate for 6K.

This shield has 4 out of 6 desirable mods, with average roll on one of them. Nowhere near that mage plate in terms of rarity/desirability.
