so, I just started playing, and the game is fantastic. but I have a few questions around crates and keys.

1. is it easier to trade crates for keys in game?
2. or is it easier to trade crates/keys for fg, then use the fg to buy what I want?
3. there seems to be a lot of different crates,and looking at threads, they all have different values. can anyone tell me what each crate is worth, both in fg and in keys?
4. what are the chances of opening a crate and getting an item from it that will be worth more than the crate and key combined?

To trade in the game, you have to still use some kind of 3rd party website to find a trader. So you may as well use jsp. I'm not sure of the crate prices for ps4, but you can do a search real quick and see what they're selling for. As far as opening up the good items, i'd say it's about 1 in 50 crates or so. But getting an item that pays for the crate and the key itself is not very hard. The value is much better than say cs:go as far as the items go.

If you're on Facebook there are plenty of pages where people sell... Or go onto PlayStation community and search for rocket league trading.. easy to find trades.

jsp users are older gamers and fairly strict rules here makes trading safe. Feel free to use any site you want but I personally like d2jsp.org
