in some games I notice that there are players who mechanically are vastly superior to me. I'm playing in Platinum 3 for 2v2, sometimes there will be a player in the game who can do aerial mechanics that are mind blowing

do some players with a lot of experience just simply lose on purpose to beat up on worse opponents? or do they genuinely lose games because although they are gifted mechanically, they don't heed to positioning?

what do you think about Champ+ level players being in Platinum 3 games? do some people just do that to mess around? usually my platinum 3 games are very tightly contested, however every once in a while I will be in a game where either my ally or my opponent is absolutely laying the smack down and nobody can stop them
