new to the game was wondering what are the best methods for getting gold / crystals

currently just been doing quests and farming iron / wood

i see there is advantages to leveling via battle then later on collecting more resources im assuming

yeah, because you are able to use higher lvl gear, some that have higher % bonus for the one resource you're going after.
There are some unspawnables that have more resourceboost on lower lvl items aswell, but they cost more than you want to pay ^^,

would you know at around what level would i go to the new area
