Warframe is 3rd person sci-fi shooter.
Your load out consists of a Primary/Secondary/Melee weapon.
You can start with 1 of 3 Warframes(pretty just have different shield/health and 4 different abilities each)
There are more Warframes you can unlock by playing ( just like in league, or you can purchase them with real money )
You can buy pretty much anything with real money BUT its a Coop PvE game so it really doesn't break anything and anyways no gun is broken(for the most part)

To upgrade you get "Modules" which are like Cards that you can equip your Warframe/Primary/Secondary/Sword/Sentinel(little pet that follows you) with. There are tons of different kind like Damage/fire/ice/lightning damage/reload/clip size/max ammo/ etc just tons.
You can combine those Cards with other cards to upgrade them and make them better

I enjoy playing but its a lot funner if you have a group of friends to play with.

Not that big atm it's open beta I think <2gig
