a great weapon in most cases is Soma prime, havent tried the normal version on the gun, but it has a HUGE magazine and works like a normal assault rifle, if you mod it correctly you one shot most things and have something like 200 bullets in each mag. great way to learn the game mechanics and how the game works and then you can change into more challenging weapons

I'm currently using Orthos prime gifted by my friend.. will take a look at the other pri good weapons.

other than that.. I'm still deciding what warframe to use..
I kind of like meltee combat but it just doesn't seem to do the job in void missions.

wave 15+ onwards on void t3 defense (I think) and I do shit damage.

all low tier primaries.

burston is a good primary that will carry you through farming void for a good weapon

75% of weapons in the game are mastery fodder and just sell them after you level them.
