40 life with bo vs 112 defense with shout and iron skin

17 base life vs 12.5 base defense (112/8.9)

As a way to compare the base stats like stats on items.

Most extra defense from that helm is 112 .. but 40 more life with demon crest is better

demon crest is much better so long as you don't need an additional slot for 15 ias jewels

also, I saw your stone hew thread, for a barbarian 40/15 max is superior to all other jewels or sockets including Ohm runes, and because of your passive masteries Lo rune is much less effective for a barbarian then it is for a zealot, even in bvb.

Also I'm interested in both these items, please message me what your price elsewhere would be. I'm more then happy to use a mediator of your choosing.
