idk history before i sold to bonyai in 2011 but most all of the forts I bought then had history back to the duper who perm'd it by making the runeword - thats great you have had a 1.5/30 for a long time, I used to have hundreds of unperm copies too before I let all my mules expire.
What they're saying is you need to clash against known unperms, clashing a perm won't prove a thing.
It is likely that this originated from Kurtimas (Kurt) or D2Elite (Dave) or Joswann (Jordan). We used to perm dupe the zbug AP and zbug mons on ladder and roll forts, spirits, and phoenix’s all day with the necro dupe.

I don’t even feel bad for you on that, you should have clashed that valk before buying it. Back then, there weren’t as many ID’s for 08 valks to clash with so everyone thought they were perm and then flash forward 7+ years and the x8 ID set came out publically and over half the valks on west poofed. Blake didn’t play actively and sat on that thing for half a decade assuming it was perm. So that’s on you and Blake more than it’s on Scott and mike.
