There's never enough evidence that an item poofed, I thought we relied generally on the reputation of the buyer when an item poofs, just like we rely on the reputation of a seller when a duped item is sold. I take this point seriously and it's a new problem for me. I'm not sure what the answer is, seems to me that every option is a bad one. Lot of room for bias and personal judgement in your solution, which I understand is the typical one - and acknowledge that it probably is the typical one because it's the most consistently good one. It's still a bad one and because I had just lost out via scams I wanted to do some extra homework.
