honestly if its an a2 merc you get more from 80/30'd gskull same with most of the melee mercs. andys main thing is LL for pvm, so using it for pvp is kind of pointless unless you ge a chance to heal the merc in another area between kills. dr is also pointless on a merc since in pvp they die in 1-2 hits anyway, 2 being lucky as fuck.
that leaves you with a few options for pvp
3os 40/15 helm with frw or some other useful mod
gface
gskull
coa
rare 2os viso(not even sure this would matter over coa's def/dr/res/sockets)
this is just my opinion on pvp and mercs, i may be wrong but as far as i know andys and tal helm are for pvm mercs.
and the ias on andys doesnt make up for the 1os with no useful melee mods but str
e/ and whoever mentioned skills on a merc hasnt been paying attention.
