someone paid me 20fg for an insight, which i offered to hold till their grush was complete.

That was hours ago and now that person is offline- ive already spent the FG.

How long is it appropriate to wait, before assuming the buyer abandoned the purchase?

(i also pmd the buyer reminding them they need to collect the item still)

At the very least until he comes back online.

I was planning on holding all weekend at least, or longer if theres some kind of pre established culture or w/e for this kinda thing... i wasnt sure how to handle the situation, other than hold it for ever, or consider it mine again after monday..

In my own opinion, which means absolutely nothing, you should hold it until he comes back online or 48 hours. After 48 hours, for 20fg, I'd assume it abandoned tbh.

Hold it till the user comes back online and takes hold of his item or return his forum gold.

Not that 20fg is a large sum, but he could potentially claim you scammed him upon returning

I would recommend you return his forum gold and wait till his is online to actually do the trade.

Someone donated 20fg to me after reading the thread, i gave the FG to the user who abandoned his purchase. Thanks for the help, i dont wanna do anyone dirty and just wanted to be clear as to how best to handle this situation.
