Why do I get spammed by shop bot even when I am in a private game?

I was wondering about the same until I noticed it's due to the fact that you are also a member of the "trade" chat whilst being in a game. These chat bots are spamming in there all day long and in certain conditions (I also don't know how this randomly happens), a message from the trade chat will appear even when you're ingame.

There’s a known bug that displays Trade Chat and All messages to you while you were in a private game and had Game chat selected. It’s been going on since D2R was released.

I recommend reporting the bots, muting them and then simply change back to Game chat. It’s tedious but there are no approved work arounds at this time.

You could type "/leave trade" to see if that gets you out of the channel in general to avoid any private game glitch.
