Didn't want to spam the battle net forum so figured I'd post here.

After becoming friends and waiting the 3 days to gift a balance, should an order go through promptly or does it require waiting even longer? (potentially up to 3 more days) for them to receive the email to claim their gift? Or does it simply just vary on a case by case basis?
I have never done this before so I'm unsure on the timeline.

I've gifted before (after the 3 day wait) and it went through promptly. I had another one that took a few hours, so I'd say it would be case by case but should go through asap.

Gifting after waiting 3 days are instant, unless your account is flagged for abusing the gifting method in which the transaction will be blocked and your account will be suspended from gifting.

Well I certainly hope that is not the case considering this is the first time lol. It definitely was not instant and the receiver has not yet received the email. I have also double checked my card info/ battle tags, etc.



Ah okay hopefully it doesn't take too much longer than that. I purchased my own balance the other day and it took about 26 hours to hit my bnet account, and now the waiting period is over after friending the receiver but it's only been about 20-30 minutes since i gifted the balance.
Hopefully this is just a new time sender issue or something.

You can check your pending gifts on Battle.Net, it should give you more details. It would say pending, complete etc.

Hopefully it goes through asap and everything is fine.

Yeah it still says pending. I just found it strange; I figured it would have been automatic.
Oh well I guess, hopefully it doesn't take too long.

Secondly , I just got gifted a game the other day and it was instant idk if that helps

Guess I just have shit luck. Its been roughly 7 hours and it still shows pending. Frustrating...

Received balance roughly 24H after. Not horrible just frustrating when trying to trade balance vs fg. Will keep in mind doing future trades.

Could be due to first time gifting. If you just entered the credit card number and then gifted right away it’s more of a security measure to ensure there isn’t fraud. Your next gifting should go close to instantly.
