I have a Xbox Scorpio and 800 gb free space and a 100 mbps connection. Joining games takes a minute and switching acts also going through portals is very slow. How do I fix this?

Cheap fix is getting a 128gb flash drive for $15 and loading Diablo onto it

Why does my little switch do fine though? I have plenty of free space. Is there another way to fix this?

It's not about free space, it's about processing speed and the type of hard drive. The internal HD of the Scorpio is still a disk HD. A flash drive, the switch, ect is SSD (solid state drive. Essentially a chip, not a disk) so it transfers data quicker

There's of course other ways. You can buy a Series Xbox, buy a bigger SSD HD for $120+, or buy a flash drive for $15. The flash drive has to be a minimum of 128GB though or the Xbox won't recognize it

Probably because you have the game on a faster micro sd card you inserted into the switch. If you’re on xb1, a decent speed external ssd or flash drive should solve this.

I had the same problem before upgrading to an Xsx, and used an external SSD with my xb1. Went from ~30 second loads to 3-4 seconds for Harrogath.

The other way to fix this is get an XSX/S.
