Hi

When medowfakin dude scams and they send their gold to another account, what happens to them? Lately there seems to be a lot of people being scammed by 2022 users, when I check the scammers account they have no gold or only 5 or 10 fg left (garbage left for account which getin banned soon ofc), it's obvious they will sent it to another account...... So they scam, make profit and put it into another account without consequence? Looks to be the case since a lot of 2022 and many others nonetheless are scamming lately....how can this happen? Plz let me know what is happening

Like this guy for example

Bro, it's the wild west out here. It seems to me moderators only catch a small fraction of the scammers. Myself and a few other people were scammed last year and case we had submitted with lots of proof is still pending resolution... https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=90933171&f=250&p=597282197#p597282197

I suggest you just take all of the precautionary steps to ensure you don't get scammed. D2jsp mods aren't perfect...

Yes, unfortunately.

In big trades it's totally okay to just break it down into smaller transactions. Like trading the bow and belt and helm. Then the armor and boots. Followed eventually by a torch, then an anni. It may take longer, but neither side is risking nearly as much.

Use moderators and always confirm on d2jsp ( including the battle tag) for big trades.

Or get scammed and live with it.

The other tactic I've seen is just quickly buying HR at over market price and liquidating later on main account. At that point you're indistinguishable from botters, and the slight loss you take is cost of not getting easily traced to your main.

This is horrible advice

If you feel the need to do this, use a mediator

Nothing wrong with smaller batches.....

Got 50 annis to sell? Sell 5 or 10 at a time. Not that complicated for most. 🤷‍♂️

I suppose some people believe it's all or nothing...and that's how they get scammed.
