I believe it requires a certain amount of posts before i'm allowed to post images. Right now if i link one, the link will work, however it won't show the image within the post.

I was curious, when will i be able to post an image that will be shown directly on my post ?

It requires 15 posts so you should be fine. Make sure you use the direct link to the image (right click on pic -> copy image address)

(i picked a random picture but it's a great exemple : it's way too big)

Hey there.

You can try using this https://www.reduceimages.com/ to reduce the size if your image. I don’t think you can adjust the size on the imgur. If your are referring to cropping the image, then you can simply use the snipping tool to crop the image and then copy-paste it into imgur.
