i need to get in contact with blizz support for account issues

i submitted a ticket and it said 24hour response time, now ive been waiting 9 days for a reply and still nothing

is there a faster way to get in contact with them? or are they just really that incompetent

Hey there,

Tickets usually get answered within 24 to 48 hours. I would double-check the status of your ticket in the support section of your account to make sure it wasn't already answered. If it wasn't answered and it is still an active ticket, I would probably submit another and adjust the category of your ticket if it is possible. If everything appears to be submitted correctly, I think you might just have to wait a bit longer. They could be extra busy around this time due to the Dragonflight release coming up.

Short Answer: You are screwed because there isn't another way.

Long Answer: Blizzard no longer accepts inbound customer support phone calls. Feel free to try yourself? If you call the official Blizzard customer support number below, you literally get a 30 second recording that tells you where to get official support, that they don't accept inbound calls, and then it hangs up on you.

Back when that number still accepted inbound phone calls, Blizzard preemptively scrubbed it from their website. Somebody asked for customer support on their official forums. I posted the phone number and my reply was deleted and I received a 7-day forum ban.

My advice to you is to stop expecting quality customer support from a company like Activision Blizzard.

If that's an issue for you, stop supporting them.

Hopefully, the US government doesn't block Microsoft from acquiring Activision-Blizzard because they'll put an end to their bullshit. After all, we all know their customers won't.

Unsure if it still works but I instantly used to get through to live chat by going to payment issues, problem with purchase then it would put me straight through to someone on livechat then I'd just explain my WoW issue, they'd help me without mentioning I'm using the wrong service.

Worth checking.
