Act 1 merc doesnt survive. rocking 14fanat faith in 15ed greatbow, eth fort, non-eth andies ral'ed. whats the deal do you think? im a 93 godly barb but my merc feels like a failed project.

What is your merc dying to? Poison? Physical? What act is he dying more than others? It all depends where the weakness lies, take a look at this extensive merc guide where several different armor set up’s are recommended

Nightmare A2 offensive aura or holy freeze merc is BIS for barbs.

she struggles in trav runs.. also just died ez in a5 glacial trail. usually high density. im wondering if there is a GG way to make her seemingly unkillable like some of the a2 merc builds

My GF Barb uses Act2 Merc for Trav runs.

I use P Andys, Insight and AP Fort.

I would just drop your A1 merc and go with an A2 merc.

Trav is hard cause of how hydra damage calculation applies to hirelings. You need use some specific gear to survive. High fire damage, or resist fire aura, or just go the act2 (or act5) merc for physical damage leech.
