Hello fellow Diablo players, I use to be pretty involved with the trade community here on d2jsp revolving around the game Diablo 2 LoD. It's been quite a few years since I've played the game and I recently bought ressurected for my Xbox console and life has happened so my old email address for my jsp simply doesn't exists anymore. Phones numbers have changed over the years and survival like working to live had become life for me. I bought a guild however and looked up old friends I played with online and found they are still in the guild to this day, I reached out to say hello and mentioned my character names I played with back when which was like ten years ago but haven't heard back as of yet, but when I do is there some sort of recovery process I can apply to or have help if I ask them to also reach out and ask the admins or moderators of this site to recover my old account? I would appreciate some help on this matter as it would be Great to become a active member with the community on here once again. Thank you to anyone who reads this and has some information they can give me to follow up on.

Thank you cringer.

I went to the account recovery form here through my cell phone and put in the information to the best of my ability with my email address that I used to create this account which is not allowed to be sent information to from this site about the recovery because the recovery is for a different account.

What should I do delete this account and come back to this page to find that link and re do all the information again? Also I personal messaged the people in the guild I bought which was like years ago man almost a decade telling them it's me by character name I played with on the game! I'm still waiting to hear back from one of these guys and I was going to ask if they can somehow help me with all of this..

Any further information would be greatly appreciated on this matter and once again thank you to anyone who can help!

You will be instructed what to do in case your recovery is successful. If it's not successful think about it again and provide as much information as possible that only the original account owner can know, there are no limits set to this. That could be some higher FG transactions that you remember, payment method for any possible fg purchases, total $ amount donated/purchased etc. - until then, I'd advise to await the response from your recovery now.

Right I just have this account registered to my email address I use which stops me at step two as this account is registered to my email. I'm not really adimint on creating a new email just for this stuff. I guess where I'm at is what would be your opinion be here delete this account and come back to this page to find this information? I don't want to look suspicious here also this was ten years ago but I have information to identify myself to the account I'm trying to recover. And once again thank you to anyone who can give me more suggestions or information here on what and what not to do.

Just so I get this right, do you still have access to the email which was attached to your "old" account (the one that you're trying to recover) ?

No years ago I changed my cell phone number to that email but never the two step and just abandoned it.

It has been de activated due to in activity.

Okay, and which steps from the account recovery guide did you follow when you say that it stops you at step 2 to complete the form?

I'm assuming you pressed the link "LOGGED OUT PASSWORD RESET TOOL" and then pressed the "I Forgot My Account Email" button, is that correct?

Step two just asks which email you believe is originally linked to the account you're trying to recover so it shouldn't matter if you registered this new account to get some help here. It is going to ask you for a current working email later in that form anyway.
