anyone able to tell me how to add pictures to my posts? the picture button doesnt really work

Upload them somewhere online.
Copy the adress, past it in your post, mark it and press the picture button above.

Host the picture on IMGUR or somewhere else.

Then highlight the image URL and click the image button.

Should look like this:
