Am I best to use bloodfist to reach 86fhr or...stick with 48fhr and run..

The crafted gloves certainly seem like a better option, as you may also get FHR from charms as well to hit the breakpoint but the 48 breakpoint is totally fine for a PVE Smiter, I'm running fine on 48.

Btw why Treks on a Smiter? If you've capped CB from other sources and don't need Goblin Toes or Gore Riders then you can make up for the FHR with rare boots.

Really you'd want as much non-weapon IAS on gloves as it's easier to supplement FHR Breakpoints with charms. I've found for PvE I don't even need the 86fhr BP because lifetap/leech/smite stun.

I would not prioritize FHR on glove slot
