Do you have multiple jsp windows/tabs open? This sometimes causes errors with push Notifications.

i bump my thread and go afk and never receive the ping if the tab is still open i guess

Push notifications don't push to an open tab.

Push notifications push to a newly loaded page. So when you reload the page you will get a list on the top of the page of new activity.

Try the chat above. I believe it does update in real time.

Actually Chrome is the browser that is most compatible with most of the site features, double-check your push notification settings here: https://forums.d2jsp.org/settings.php?c=35 and see if you may have accidentally ticked the silent timer.

it works when my jsp is totally closed usually
