Windows Panel not popping up when im playing and press the windows button. I have to exit the game. help

Alt+tab the game? Or alt + enter to window mode?

Alt+enter did work but it has never been like this. I used to just press the windows button and panel would pop up. maybe change my keybord?

You might need to switch the game to fullscreen windowed in your settings.

On your physical keyboard look for a "windows lock" button.

This just happened to me the other day when my cat pressed it lol

dont have this button, the only lock button I have is to lock the PC.

What’s your budget? Also try reinstalling the drivers for your current keyboard.

As your description states it is only when in game it is likely the feature called "game mode" that prevents you from accidently pressing these hotkeys that would overlay the screen when playing games.
disabling this feature through the control panel should resolve the issue.
