Anyone got any idea or experiance something similar? Just started a few days ago. It still uploads the image URL after paste, but adds in thousands of lines of text, like it's uploading the plaintext interpretation of the file data from clipboard.

My first thought was malware interfering with the clipboard, but haven't found any such malware on the device thus far.

Using a different browser yields the same results.

Highly suggest you check your phone for updates through settings, then check all your browsers, and possibly extensions, for updates, then delete cookies/cache/clipboard, and turn your phone off and on.

Never encountered this problem myself and I almost exclusively browse on android devices.

It definitely has nothing to do with malware or anything of that nature that's for sure, it may be a unicode/language problem.

Sometimes when I'm copying images saved with names other than English i.e: 一二三四.jpg then paste them in the fast reply window then I get errors like that too, is your OS in a different language other than English?

English language, and file names are all in English. Sometimes the error shows text related to the image being cropped or resized in the gallery app.

EDIT:
Okay, so I figured it out! My Android Gallery app doesn't play well with JSP. If I put the photo into the clipboard from a different photo gallery app, works just fine.

If you're C&Ping from a different app then there could be a problem as images could be encoded, copying an image on off Google images on my browser then pasting it here don't cause problems for me.

What version is your built-in android gallery app atm?
Mine is 13.1.05.8
