Are you trying to load up d2LoD or D2R?

If LoD, swap regions to Asia and it will download the latest patch.
If D2R try repairing the install and running as admin.

its normal d2 ( LOD ) where i"M having the issue , already tried to switch server but didnt work

Then you're temp banned. You just gotta let it sit for a while without trying to login. I'm not too sure on how long though.

Or you can reset your IP address to circumvent it I believe.

Pretty sure blizzard temp bans vpn users

OR even logging into hotel wifi they temp ban for some reason. Happened many a times to people

Edit: best to wait it out and not try to log in over in over, or it will extend the temp ban. Unless of course you want to reset ip like others have suggested

I've had this issue twice now. I figured out with the help of it's caused from your router being reset. All I did was reset my modem/router overnight and it fixed it. game me that tip. Hope it works for you as well.

I'm on hotel wifi 24/7 and I havent had this happen yet. But not all hotel wifi is the same im sure.

I think it has something to do with your ip changing if you are usually at home vs randomly one day book a hotel and login. So for you always being logged in could be seen as a permanent residence
