Is it allowed to sell FG for cryptocurrencies?

I tried looking through the rules, and the closest thing I can find is the post https://forums.d2jsp.org/info.php?p=38, which says 'Selling - You may not sell Forum Gold for money to anyone under any circumstances.', but so far what I know cryptocurrencies is still not considered money.

Yeah I know. I just created a new account after couple of years. I am not able to recover my old account since it is registred in a hotmail and I cannot remember the account name. So I am considering that account lost, since I cannot recover my old account :/ It is probably still against the multiple account rules, even if I cannot recover the old account.

Crypto is literally “digital currency” what about that doesn’t signify that it indeed has monetary value?

You can argue that so does every item we buy/sell here as well but it’s still beside the point that trading fg for anything but in-game currency (including steam/bnet balance even though technically it isn’t “in-game”) is illegal.

You are only allowed to purchase digital items that are tradable in games and steam, battle net balance, or other digitally giftable items.
