You can even use Native Windows with right click of the mouse on the image.
There is option to resize it.

As in, Natively in Windows -

Double-click the image file you want to resize to open it in Photos.
Once it's opened, click the three dots in the top-right corner, then click "Resize."

I didn't know I had that.
I can reduce the image proportions.
