Was looking for someone who got locked probably in 2017 and now I can't find their account. Obviously they don't have a post history in 2022. Any suggestions on how to find?

this will work if you know the account name
its under tools on the top right corner

Easy access to it is: Tools > User search > type name

I don't think anyone is a dumbass for asking questions... You may appear like a fool for one second,
but it's a fair investment that prevents a lot of judgements later down the line ;)

This is the best way to search. Other than that, sometimes a google search with key words from the thread will yield results.
