Yes it does change depending on if the post was made in a Trading forum or a Non-trading forum.

For example as mentioned above in the Trading Grounds if you edit the first post the timer will reset the 72h window.
In General Help forum however the timer does not get reset by editing the original post and is a shorter timer as well (same applies to all non-trading forums)

For all forums outside trading your edit window is 30m with the exception that customers get 1 hour and verified members get 2 hours and trading forums get 3/5/7days respectively to edit and the timer resets every time you edit as described in the "Verified Criteria" page here https://forums.d2jsp.org/verify.php
