I've tried everything I can think of.
used to simply be putting the IMG code around my URL but it just does links now.
Am I missing something?

Link directly to the .png file

Sometimes the link you copy is to the site and not the image itself, then use [ IMG]http://yourimagelink.jpeg[/ IMG]

You can do Right click > view image, or take the URL straight to the image from the Inspect panel

just add .jpg after the image code from imgur and it should work

Right click the image, copy image address, paste that in the IMG IMG brackets it gives you when you click the middle one of the icons below

Make sure you're copying the Direct Link.

Just to add, that link won't work. You'll need to use https
