hey!
My d2r is a bit slow and chrome laggs when game is opened. Couple of days ago i tried to run 2 windows of d2r - it starts but laggs and crushes when both get into same game.
My setup is i5 6500, 1060 3gb, 8 gb ram.
The question is, will i be able to run 2 instances and/or will be chrome more usable if i upgrade ram to 32 gb and should i get an ssd drive as well there or cpu and gpu are just not that good to run a modern game smoothly and ram alone will not make any difference?

I think at least

i7+ for cpu @ like 3.7hz+
nvme m.2 ssd (install game on this)
32 gb @ 3,000+ speed
better gpu

changing cpu and gpu is too much of a hustle rnow, but what do you think, will ssd and ram make any difference?

yes it will make a difference

not sure if your i5 is unlocked, maybe look into a nice overclock. The ram/gpu is more your focus here though

SSD will help with speed all around for the PC.
I would go from 8 to 16gig RAM.
CPU is decent so should be okay, for now.
GPU is lacking for trying to run 2 instances of D2R. You can try playing D2R in legacy graphics to reduce the strain on the GPU.
Minimum specs for a GPU is 2gb for D2R but recommended is 6gb. So your 1060 3gb is going to be stressing with 1 D2R if you are playing on higher graphic settings and trying to run 2 instances wont happen unless on legacy graphics.

D2R is pretty demanding on RAM.
Even with 16gb running 2 almost caps out my memory.

This guide explains running multiple copies and the person who posted listed their PC specs and what it can run both copies at.
