Hi, I've gotten a whole new computer and am struggling to log in.

I know my password - this was confirmed by changing the original one in Settings. I tried to log in before and after password change - failed both.

I know my gold password - this was confirmed by sending 1 fg to a random person.

Knowing both - i still couldn't log in on this new computer.

What would you do to manage to log in?

The message of trying to log in: "The password you entered is incorrect."

First, check that your browser settings are not blocking access to the website.

The site itself loads fine. I've tried with a different browser - same result.

OK I managed, I turned off VPN and AdGuard. This worked.

As Kevin mentioned in post #16 here: https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=81247844

do not browse the site using a VPN or a proxy.

If true, then why would people need to submit a proxy issue via contact button?

If you're using the network of let's say a public library, your school, a hospital or your workplace and you suspect that they may have a proxy installed on their servers as well as their router devices that is interfering with your ability to browse the site,
you may have to use the contact feature to put in a request to have it whitelisted so you may have access to the site, that would be a proxy issue.

On the other hand, BigThickMilk stated in #4 that he's was using a VPN himself, that would be forbidden as stated by Kevin.

Ty for getting back to me. That helps me. Thank you.

Yes you are right, VPN is forbidden.

No worries, also there are scenarios whereas for example users have moved houses or moved to an entirely new country recently and gotten a new internet connection from a different ISP and suddenly they have issues with accessing the site,
that could also be reported as a proxy issue.
