So I have allowed notifications for the site but when I try to register it just changes to "registering" and have had it sit there for like 10mins and still nothing. Other sites I can get notifications working fine as per normal Chrome use.

So this issue is only on D2JSP.

So to confirm windows notifications are turned on
Notifications are allowed for D2JSP

First of all, clear the cookies in your browser and check that you do not have a blockade for receiving notifications from d2jsp.

Cleared and confirmed notifications are allowed for d2jsp.

Went to enable and same thing occurred.

Does this problem only occur on your PC? Also on the smartphone? Do you have another browser installed, for example firefox? To check if notifications will get there.

Allow or block notifications from all parties:

1.On your Smartphone or PC, open the Chrome application.

2. To the right of the address bar, click More and then Settings.

3. Click Site Settings and then Notifications.

4.At the top, turn a setting on or off.

To allow silent notifications, click Show messages discreetly (blocks notifications so they don't disturb you). You will not receive notifications from a site where you ignore many notifications or where other users usually don't allow notifications.

Important: If you allow a website to send notifications that Chrome has marked as violating or misleading, Chrome may block those notifications and require the website to ask you for permission to send a push notification every time. You can change this setting to allow notifications.

Allow or block notifications from a specific site:

1.Open the application on a PC or Android smartphone.

2.Open the page whose notification settings you want to change.

3.On the left side of the address bar, click Block and then Permissions.

-If a menu opens: select the setting you want to change.

-If no menu opens: permissions have their original settings.

Ok just tried it in Microsoft edge which is also chromium based and same exact issue. Dunno what is going on as notifications works for other sites without any issues. When I click on "enable push notifications" in the push notifications section for the first time it has a pop up to allow notifications which I allow but then get the same thing and the button changes to an indefinite "Registering..."

Try uninstalling chrome. And reinstall it. If that doesn't help, we'll keep looking.

Uninstall Chrome? I don't use Chrome itself. I am using Brave and also tried Microsoft edge which are Chromium based.

You can enable push notifications of the following: PMs, Gold, Friend Requests, Topics, Tracked Topics, and Quotes

At this time, only the following browsers support this feature: Chrome (PC or Android) v42+, Firefox (PC) v44+, Chrome (MacOS) v59+, Microsoft Edge (PC)

You must use this page to enable notifications on each device you want notifications on.

When Enabling or Disabling notifications, please allow up to a minute for it to process. Do not leave the page while it is processing.

Silent Time allows you to still receive notifications but without a vibration or sound during the hours selected, or always silently if both hours are the same.

Pin Until Clicked will keep notifications on screen until you click to dismiss them. This is only applicable to the PC, not mobile devices which already have this functionality.

Brave is not listed as a supported browser. There may be a problem here
