ACCOUNT RECOVERY GUIDE

A common misconception is that account recovery is used when you have forgotten your password(s). This is NOT 100% true. Account recovery
should be used ONLY when you have exhausted all other resources! The following should always be used BEFORE attempting an account recovery:

• If you are logged in and have forgotten your password, use the following: LOGGED IN PASSWORD RESET TOOL

• If you are logged out and have forgotten your password, use the following: LOGGED OUT PASSWORD RESET TOOL

• If you have forgotten your gold password, use the following: GOLD PASSWORD RECOVERY TOOL (This can only be used if logged in!)


Once you have tried resetting your password, have waited AT LEAST 20 minutes, and have checked ALL folders in your email(Spam/Junk etc...) then you
can use the account recovery tool.

1. ACCOUNT RECOVERY

Account Recovery is used to submit a recovery form.
Include as much information as you possibly can to help speed up the process.


2. ACCOUNT RECOVERY EXAMPLE:

What username are you attempting to recover?: Munky
This is your username on the account you are trying to recover.

What email do you believe may be associated with this account?: xxxx@hotmail.com
If you are not 100% certain of the email address registered to your account currently, use this box and
put in every and any email you have ever used that you may have used to register this account.
be sure to separate them with a space.

Have you ever purchased Forum Gold, Or donated to d2jsp.org: A yes or no answer is fine

Approximate dollar amount purchased/donated: $25
This question is only visible if you answered yes to question #3.
Try to be as accurate as possible, log into your paypal if possible and figure out total.

What is your PayPal name and email address?: John Smith, xxxx@hotmail.com
This question is only visible if you answered yes to question #3.
If you have changed your paypal email, list all emails used with your paypal.

Please enter any additional purchase information: the paypal transaction ID's are XXXXXXXXXX and XXXXXXXXXX
This question is only visible if you answered yes to question #3.
Please list all possible transactions you can find, again logging into paypal and looking up transaction history will help here.

What is a current, working email address where you can be reached:
Make sure you have access to this email address, as ALL replies about your account recovery will be sent to this email address!
if you have been keylogged, please make sure you create a new email address, or use an email address that you have never used for your
account on d2jsp before.

Please provide us with any additional information you feel will help us process your claim faster:
Examples-
•Any additional names you may have had on this account
•Any specific gold log transactions you may have had with a user (Who, When, How much)
•If you feel your computer/account may have been hacked, please mention that
•If you have already sent an account recovery request, and have since cleaned your computer
Not completing this field with any information, will greatly reduce the chance of recovering your account!
Try and provide something that only the original account owner would know!

3. COMMON MISTAKES MADE WHEN ATTEMPTING TO RECOVER YOUR ACCOUNT

The following is a list of common mistakes that are made when attempting to recover an account:

• Making a new account to ask questions about your account recovery. THIS IS AGAINST THE SITE RULES AND CAN RESULT IN ACTIONS TAKEN AGAINST BOTH ACCOUNTS!



• PM'ing staff members about the status of your account recovery. unfortunately staff members are unable to assist account recovery via PM, Please wait for your response via email once you have submitted your request.

• Do not have other people/members ask about the status of your account recovery, as no information will be provided!
