A jsp user is posting my personal information up in discord channels and threatening to do more ( send me packages in the mail of what? unsure) Is this okay? The guy is a loose nut im unsure what to do going forward

I think it depends on what discord channels we are talking about.
First I would go ahead and reach out for the channel admin if he could delete/hide the posts regarding your personal information since you do not wish to have this public.
Second you could express you do not wish further posts regarding your personal information and ask if the admin could get in touch with the user who posted your information and ask him to stop.

If the channels in questions are led by the jsp staff you should reach out to the apropiate staff group with the points I statted above.

Open Discord, log into your account, then select the “Settings” icon (gear icon) at the bottom of the screen. Scroll down to the “Advanced” section and ensure “Developer Mode” is “ON.” Obtain the necessary IDs to report the user. Open the message you believe violates Discord guidelines.

so report that account.

reporting that user to discord is far too kind

report to police with evidence you got as this is real life crime

Calling the Local Sheriff's Office and explain your situation to them sounds like something you should do.

You should also reach out to an appropriate member of staff privately and explain the situation, while including any evidence you need to of the user violating d2jsp site rules.

Taking additional precautions in addition to stopping all contact with the individual threating you in the way you described is something I recommend.

How did this "loose nut" aquire your information?

I've noticed that one of the best ways to get rid of people like this is by simply remaining unaffected ( emotionally ) by the attacks.

Most people who have been online for a few years knows how it feels to run into nuts who want to do them harm... And most people can spot abusers like this because of their own experiences.

If you know who it is, then it could definitely be worth calling the local police office and see if they care, just like Kyhle suggested.

From a d2jsp perspective, there are plenty of moderators to explain your situation to!

I would call the local police in my opinion , good luck with that buddy. Its really sad.
