Theres so many issues with that stupid gold pass even my own familly cant log into d2jsp and i hav about 50 guildies who cant access jsp cause of that gold password crap some never set it up so now they get invalid password



GOLD PASSWORD NEEDS TO BE MADE OPTIONAL AGAIN SO PEOPLE CAN LOG INTO JSP! N SET 1 UP


i honestly think it defeats the purpose of safety when people cant even log into there own accounts lmfao

Hey,
Paul considered introducing mandatory gold password to improve security in 2006. He finally implemented it in 2018 and I don't think he's gonna make it optional again, however you can always post a suggestion in here:

Read a sticky above how to do so ;)

If your friends can't log in into d2jsp tell them to set a new gold password (or if still an issue to do the account recovery and tick "Remember Gold Password On This Device" afterwards, so they don't have to type it everytime they do trades.

i can tell you most do account recovery guys ive never met ask me about it all the time i tell them send in ur drivers license and proof address

most just make a new account and leave there old 1 behind cause its just too many headaches i noticed i tell them thats not the right option but many have no other option

”Many have no other option”, what do you mean? Just because they’re too lazy to do an account recovery doesn’t mean there’s no other option

Hey there,

I agree with the addition of extra login credentials - it helps keep all of our accounts safer 😉

There are many people on the site who have tons of FG who may be prime targets for those with less-than-honest intentions. Gotta protect everyone.

There are no plans to make this optional again. Account security is more important. This is for everyone, not just what you might lose on your account, but also the damage someone could do not only to your account but to others via scamming.
