So I got flamed on Reddit for asking this question. I swear that site is cancer.

Anyway...

We get a bill from the electrical company and it only shows the amount owed, and the usage.

I am just curious if it's possible to get a type of system that can be installed at the line of our house which manages all outlets of the house. And then, can generate a graph or show a live feed of every room in the house and their respective usage.

Obviously I have no knowledge of electrical engineering, so I would need to get something like this installed professionally. I am curious if something like this exists already, and if it does how much would something like this cost and who can I contact? Thanks!

the system would cost more than you'd ever save monitoring it.

Hmm. Yeah kinda, but don't want to have a separate outlet that we would need to re-plugin into.

More curious if I can get someone to install something at the meter/line and it measures all the circuits / connections to the outlets in the house. Then, have the ability to see a live feed of the activity or option to view a graph / blueprint of the house and the usage in each room (via local server, or w/e)
